I present to you my first combined post. When they say there is a photography season, they are NOT lying.
Things are picking up speed as the summer approaches and I'm having a blast. Last Saturday, I headed over to Sykesville to Jim and Amanda's house to do a little photo session with them and six month old Liam. We took the pictures in their backyard and in the woods behind their house. They have a beautiful property and a beautiful home that Jim has obviously worked VERY hard on. Liam is such a cute boy and he obviously loves people, most of all his parents. It didn't take much for them to coax out some smiles. It was great practice for me and I can't wait to get more of that practice in the future! Then, last Sunday I sat down with Rachel and Mark for their wedding consultation. They are having an intimate October wedding with just their closest friends and family in attendance. Our meeting didn't take long, but we bonded right away. I will also be doing their engagement shots at some point this summer and I am incredibly excited to start working with them! Looks like I'm going to need to update more often as the "season" gets underway. Look for Amanda, Jim, and Liam's photos soon!

Looks like I'm keeping it in the family!
Kind of. Last month I took engagement pictures for my big sister, Carrie. Last week I took engagement pictures for my little brother, Lexie. No, that's not a typo. I didn't mean to write "James" (who is my actual little brother). Lexie and I are members of Phi Sigma Pi, which is a national honors fraternity. It's Co-Ed, but it's still a fraternity so we are known as brothers, and Lexie is my little. Taking photos of people you care about and get along with make the job easy. It doesn't hurt that she and Ben are extremely easy going (and head over heels in love!). We took pictures on Towson's campus which is where she and Ben met. We even snapped a few in the dorm where they lived Shout out to some of our PSP brothers for getting us into the building! After we finished at Towson, we headed over to Loch Raven Resevoir, which is this gem of a park in the heart of Towson. Drive ten minutes away from bustling York Road and you'll find yourself at an incredibly peaceful and beautiful woods and lake. I'm so happy for Lexie and Ben. They are both awesome people and I hope to stay in tough with them as they move into their very bright future. |
